Formally established in 2023, The Museum at Hoppenville is located on 24 acres of beautifully manicured grounds at the estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines.
In May of 2025, The Museum at Hoppenville opened its brand-new “Welcome Center” to serve as the gateway facility to the broader museums, and historic grounds of the Haines Estate and the Haines Historical Foundation.

The Museum at Hoppenville Welcome Center is a fully inclusive venue available to host tours, fundraisers, seminars, trade shows, dinners, banquets, weddings, receptions, holiday parties, and more. This brand-new facility accommodates up to 250 guests and features integrated indoor/outdoor patio flex space, offering stunning views of the historic grounds of the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines, as well as the scenic rural landscape surrounding the property.

The Mack Truck Legacy Museum, located on the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines, showcases Mr. Haines’ masterfully restored collection of historically significant Mack Trucks. Several of the chain-drive Mack’s in his collection date back to the early 1920s and are nationally recognized for their historical importance and exceptional restoration.

The Construction HISTORY Museum

IV and Linda Haines, showcases Mr. Haines’ expertly restored collection of construction vehicles, farming and mining equipment, memorabilia, and more. The Haines Family & Racing Legacy Museum, on the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines, is a modern museum facility filled almost exclusively with vehicles and construction equipment either owned buy the Haines family, or have historic connection to the early business operations of John B. Haines 4th Excavating – prior to development of Haines & Kibblehouse, Inc.

The Cottage at Hoppenville

The Cottage at Hoppenville, on the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines, is a fully restored mid-18th-century schoolhouse cottage that is ideal for bridal parties, special occasions or general rentals. Located within walking distance of The Welcome Center and all of our associated museum facilities, this charming getaway has three bedrooms, two full baths, one half-bath, modern kitchen amenities, breathtaking views and more!

The Train Museum at HOPPENVILLE
COMING FALL OF 2025
The Train Museum at Hoppenville, located on the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines, is poised to become one of the region’s premier G-scale model railroad destinations. This truly unique museum is a small wonder of engineering, design, craftsmanship, and a deep love for all things trains and model railroading. A sight that must be seen to be believed, the Train Museum at Hoppenville is still under meticulous construction, with tours set to begin in Fall 2025.

The Bank Barn
The Bank Barn on the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines is a beautifully restored, two-story stone structure featuring classic bank-style architecture, allowing walk-in access to the upper (main) floor. The main level showcases rustic, open post-and-beam construction—an ideal setting for intimate wedding ceremonies, celebrations, and special events.

The Tannery
The Tannery (0r, Reid’s Tannery) at the Estate of John B. IV and Linda Haines is the original tannery building on the historic Haines property, with roots tracing back to its first owner—Revolutionary War soldier Andreas Reid—who operated it through the mid to late 1700s. Today, this beautifully restored two-story stone structure provides an elegant and intimate setting for weddings, celebrations, and special events.
