Hotels Near Pennsburg PA (for Wedding Guests)

By The Hoppenville Team · 5-minute read · Last updated July 2, 2026

Half of your guests will come from out of town, and the first thing they will ask is where to stay. Here is a ready-made answer. Pennsburg sits in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, and the closest cluster of hotels is a short drive north in Quakertown, right where Route 663 meets the turnpike. That is the natural spot for a room block. Two more clusters sit within about half an hour, plus a few smaller stays with more character close to the estate. All drive times below are approximate.

The closest hotels: Quakertown (about 10 to 15 minutes)

Three chain hotels sit side by side on John Fries Highway, which makes Quakertown the easiest choice for a block of rooms.

  • Hampton Inn Quakertown. Free hot breakfast, easy highway access, a reliable mid-range block.
  • SpringHill Suites by Marriott Quakertown. All-suite, with an indoor pool and hot tub. Good for families and longer stays.
  • Holiday Inn Express and Suites Quakertown. Indoor pool, free breakfast, and pet-friendly for guests traveling with a dog.

A little farther: Lansdale and Kulpsville (about 25 to 30 minutes)

Southeast toward Lansdale you will find larger hotels with on-site restaurants, handy if guests want a place to gather.

  • Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Lansdale. Indoor pool, on-site bistro and bar.
  • Homewood Suites by Hilton Lansdale. All-suite with full kitchens, good for guests staying several nights.
  • Holiday Inn Lansdale-Kulpsville. The largest of the group, with its own restaurant and event space, so a big block is easy to arrange.

Toward Limerick and Pottstown (about 25 to 30 minutes)

West of the estate, near where Route 422 meets Route 100:

  • Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Pottstown Limerick. Free breakfast, outdoor pool, a patio with a firepit, and pet-friendly. There are additional chain hotels in this same corridor if you need more rooms.

For a stay with more character

  • The Globe Inn, East Greenville. About five minutes from the estate, this is the closest and most charming option: a small inn operating since 1895, with themed suites and a cooked-to-order breakfast, walkable to the historic Grand Theater. It is small, so it suits the couple or a few guests rather than a full block.
  • If some guests want to make a weekend of it, the classic bed-and-breakfast inns of Bucks County around New Hope are a scenic 40 minutes or so east and make a lovely getaway.

Flying in

  • Lehigh Valley International (ABE), Allentown is the closest airport, roughly 30 to 40 minutes north, and the easiest for most fly-in guests.
  • Philadelphia International (PHL) is about an hour southeast, with far more flight options if guests are coming from a distance.

A tip on room blocks

Most of the Quakertown and Lansdale hotels will hold a block of rooms at a set rate if you ask a couple of months ahead. Pick one hotel near the turnpike for the block, share it on your wedding website, and arrange a simple shuttle or carpool plan for the drive to the estate. Your out-of-town guests will thank you.
