Philadelphia Funk Authority — PFA — is a twelve-piece live wedding and event band built around a multi-vocalist front line, a full horn section, guitars, and drums. They have been a fixture at Bethlehem's Musikfest for twenty years, played the Kimmel Center as the opener for Elton John, and worked weddings up and down the Mid-Atlantic.
The set list pulls from five decades of funk, soul, R&B, disco, and dance covers, and the show scales: jazz combo for cocktail hour, full band for the dance floor. We send couples to PFA when they want a band that fills the Welcome Center room and keeps a multi-generational floor full to last call.
